Yeomalt Design works with architects, designers, artists, and personal clients to create one of a kind pieces for residential, architectural, and marine applications. We specialize in the design and fabrication of custom metalwork to create environments of lasting beauty. Utilizing years of experience in the design + build world, and a unique approach to function and aesthetics, Yeomalt works tirelessly to provide the highest quality pieces for clients in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Yeomalt Design was started by Chris Hurlow, a lifetime sailor, commercial fisherman, and maker of things. After completing his BA in Architecture at Hampshire College, Chris went on to work for a number of architectural metal shops in Massachusetts and Washington State. He founded Yeomalt to carry on the tradition of his grandfather, a machinist/inventor, and his grandmother, a multi-disciplinary artist, who both lived on Yeomalt Point Drive for many years.
